Adjust Consistency Like a Pro: Too thick? Add liquid gradually, one tablespoon at a time. Too thin? Add more frozen fruit, a handful of ice cubes, or a spoonful of greek yogurt. The perfect smoothie should coat a spoon but still pour easily – think milkshake consistency, not soup!

I feel like I’ve become a pro at making smoothies, but they’re just so dang easy that anyone can blend one up in no time!

I pick and buy fresh fruit when it’s in season and at peak ripeness to freeze for smoothies. Fruit that is perfectly ripe is the best for easy blending (and tastes the best, too).

Slice bananas before freezing, and spread berries on a baking sheet to freeze individually before transferring to bags. This prevents clumping and ensures perfect portions every time.
