Recipe FAQs

Can I use frozen raspberries instead of fresh?

Yes, frozen raspberries work well in this dip. Just ensure they are thawed and drained to avoid excess liquid.

How long does the dip last in the refrigerator?

The dip should stay fresh for about 3-5 days when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Can this dip be made ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare this dip a day ahead. In fact, letting it sit overnight can enhance the flavors as they meld together.

Can I add other flavors to the raspberry cheesecake dip?

Certainly! Feel free to mix in other fruits like blueberries or strawberries, or add a swirl of chocolate or caramel for a different twist.

Expert Tips

  • Choose full-fat, high-quality cream cheese for the best texture and flavor. It blends smoother and provides a richer taste compared to lower-fat options.
  • Adding a bit of fresh lemon zest can brighten the flavors and cut through the richness of the cream cheese, giving the dip a refreshing lift.
  • Allow the dip to chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. This helps the flavors to meld together and improves the dip’s consistency.
  • Customize your dip by adding different mix-ins like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or swirls of caramel or fruit preserves. A sprinkle of crushed graham crackers on top just before serving can also add a delightful crunch.

What did you use for dipping in the picture? It looks like a waffle cone.

    1. Melissa says:

They are these amazing butter cookies you can get at Trader Joes. And now I wish I had some!

    2. Karen says:

      Melissa,
Can this dip be made ahead and frozen?

    3. Melissa says:

It’ll be good up to 5 days in the fridge but it isn’t awesome frozen. It throws off the texture… and if you are making it ahead of time, I’d wait to add the raspberries until you are ready to serve it.

    4. Karen says:

Melissa, thank you! One more question; do you purée the raspberries or slightly mash them? Again, thank you!!

  2. Kendra says:

This looks so good! Definitely looks like a perfect thing to take to a baby shower or party! Pinned it! 🙂
