Remoulade is a sweet but spicy sauce commonly served with fried fish or crab cakes. It resembles aioli, widely known as garlic mayonnaise or a Yum Yum sauce.
Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl and stir together until combined.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
Notes
You can easily double this recipe as needed. It's easy to scale up.
Although this recipe includes cayenne pepper, you may kick the spice up a notch and add a dash of hot sauce (tabasco) in addition to the cayenne or in place of it.
The Creole version of this sauce is used as a dressing.
This sauce is also great on fish tacos and excellent as a dipping sauce for potatoes, fries, or onion rings.
