Taco Dip blends creamy textures with bold, tangy tastes in a perfect harmony! Its simplicity and speed make it a go-to recipe you'll return to over and over.
In a medium sized mixing bowl, use an electric hand mixer to whisk together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning for 2-3 minutes, or until smooth and homogeneous.
Once the mixture is thoroughly combined, use the hand mixer to mix in the cheese and chopped olives on a low speed.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you are not going to eat your dip right away then you’ll want to transfer it to the fridge.
You can store your dip in the fridge for 5 days covered in plastic wrap or transferred to an airtight container.
Using an electric hand mixer is the easiest way to combine your dip. However, you can also use a large spoon or silicone spatula.
We like to top our dip with sliced jalapeños, extra cheese, and extra chopped olives.
This dip goes great with veggies and tortillas chips. You can also place a dollop on your tacos.
Feel free to use your favorite taco seasoning as long as you have ¼ cup of seasoning.
Room temperature cream cheese will be easier to work with, but it is not necessary for this recipe.
You can use low-fat or fat-free versions of the sour cream and cream cheese if you'd like.
