Homemade Cheddar Biscuit Recipe

Cheddar Biscuits are savory, buttery and cheesy. They are super tasty and go fabulously with soup. These are the perfect addition to your favorite meals.

01

In a large bowl add the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Use a cheese grater to grate the butter into the flour mixture. Stir to combine well.

02

Add the milk and stir to combine. Add the cheese and stir until it is well incorporated. Turn the biscuit dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll to 1.5 inches thick with a rolling pin.

03

Use a 2.5 to 3 inch biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits, re-rolling the dough as needed to use it all. You should have 12 biscuits. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

04

Bake at 450 until golden brown, about 15 minutes. While the biscuits are baking add the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley to a small bowl and mix with a fork.

05

When the biscuits come out of the oven and are still warm, brush with the garlic butter mixture.

06

Heat the Zoup! Good, Really Good® Garden Vegetable Soup according to package directions. Serve the hot biscuit with the soup and enjoy!
