Description
Smoothies are easy, healthy and great for all ages. This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is high in fiber and rich in antioxidants and tastes delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup coconut milk, or milk of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 2 bananas
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to your blender in the order listed, or in the order recommended for your blender (liquid should be closest to blades and frozen furthest away).
- Blend for 45-60 seconds or until very smooth.
- Pour into cups and enjoy!
Notes
- For a thicker smoothie, try slightly freezing your bananas first.
- The vanilla can be omitted.
- Best if enjoyed right after making, however, feel free to pour into popsicle molds and freeze for strawberry banana popsicles!
- If the smoothie is too tart try adding a little honey and blending again.
- Depending on the time of year you can switch frozen strawberries for fresh and use frozen bananas instead of fresh! That's a great option in the winter months.
