    Owl Purse

I made a few owl purses recently. They turned out so cute that I wanted to share the idea. I love to sew and feel as though I have a knack for making things up. I found a picture of an owl purse on the internet and then just went at it! The design for the owl comes from Gingercake. She actually sells PDF patterns of all kinds: owl pillows, a cute simple plush elephant, hobo lunch boxes, and those cute crayon holders. Her site is really cute. I recommend checking it out!

The little detail that I added was a baby owl pocket on the back! I essentially made a second purse, just smaller and sewed it to the back of the purse. I used an old pair of corduroy pants and scrap fabric for this purse! The eyes and beak are felt.

On this purse I repeated the main owl shape twice - on the pocket decoration and on the pocket itself.

Of course, but the price would have to be right 🙂 What thoughts do you have.

Jealous! I want to see my parents! They are so cute about the blog. They often call me with great ideas or to see how this or that post went (numbers wise)! Isn't that cute. They are just so supportive about it, my mom was the one with the paper chain heart idea and it was hugely popular. I love that woman!
