I'm really excited to try this. I waste too many veggies. They sit in the fridge, but don't get used because I get busy. this method will definitely help me cut the food waste and up my daily vegetable intake. Thank you!

I wonder if you could combine two ideas I've seen. I like this recipe for egg in a mug and you microwave it. I'm wondering if you can use a bigger jar, add a wrapped slice of laughing cow, 2 uncracked eggs. Grab and go from fridge each morning. Nuke it at work like you would egg in a mug?

Brilliant idea! Canning jars are the bomb! Tonight I excavated my produce drawers to make smoothies. Deep within, I found a jar containing green leaf lettuce(packaged per your instructions). The best I can figure, it has been in that jar between 4 and 6 weeks....eeek. It was starting to go limp but no slimy or gooey spots. I gave it the sniff test and then the taste test....awesome.....so into the smoothies it went. He will never know....oh bah ha ha
