In reply to JoAnn. The 1.5 cups called for in the recipe are what is correct though an extra .5 cups won't hurt anything. I updated that note to reflect the oversight! Thanks for pointing it out!

Is the correct amount of m&m’s 2 cups or 1 1/2? The recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups but in notes it says you can save some from the 2 cups called for in recipe for the top of cookies. Please advise as I would love to make these.

This recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups m&m’s but in notes it says you can reserve some from the 2 cups called for in recipe for the tops of cookies. Is the correct amount of m&m’s for recipe 1 1/2 or 2 cups? I’m dying to make these!

I printed out this recipe and plan on making them but I do have a question. In the ingredients list it calls for 1 1/2 cups of M & M’s. However, in notes it says you can reserve a few from the 2 cups called for in the recipe to press into the unbaked cookies. So I’m not sure what the correct amount should be in the ingredients list. Would you please let me know? They look so good!
