I’m 74 years old and a retired cook. I’ve never been really happy with oatmeal cookie recipes until I tried this one. Simple, easy, and delicious. I appreciate you publishing such a good recipe!

I made them and they were great! Next time I might add some cinnamon. I would also try some lemon juice or extract for easy lemon oatmeal cookies.

In reply to Kelly. You just probably measured the flour a little heavier than I did, it's okay to add a tablespoon of milk to cookie dough if it's ever really dry to help it come together.

Merry Christmas. I just made your easy oatmeal cookies and they were so dry in the mixing bowl. I checked all the ingredients and I didn’t skip any. What did I do? They taste great after baking. When baking they stayed ball shaped and didn’t flatten out.

In reply to Robert Paterson. You probably just measured your dry ingredients a little heavier than I did. Next time you can omit 1/4 cup of flour.
