You just probably measured the flour a little heavier than I did, it’s okay to add a tablespoon of milk to cookie dough if it’s ever really dry to help it come together.

I just made your easy oatmeal cookies and they were so dry in the mixing bowl. I checked all the ingredients and I didn’t skip any. What did I do? They taste great after baking. When baking they stayed ball shaped and didn’t flatten out.

You probably just measured your dry ingredients a little heavier than I did. Next time you can omit 1/4 cup of flour.

It could have just been a measuring thing, if you measured your flour a little light they would have spread some. If using the fork just make sure it’s really well beaten.
