I absolutely love this recipe it’s my go to recipe for sour dough bread. I increased the sourdough to 1/2 cup. I normally make one with breadflour, one with 1/2 breadflour/1/2 whole wheat flour. I also make it as a cinnamon, brown sugar raisin bread 2 T of each per loaf. I use a breadmaker. Thank you so much for this recipe. I’ve been doing sourbread for 4 years.

After the one hour mark, just add them in and work them in by hand. You can also add them in the morning through they are a little harder to get worked in.

Excellent Sourdough Bread! A compliment every time! I recently started using rice flour on the counter and in the Banneton and wow what a difference, no more sticking. I put the bowl of sourdough on a pot holder so it's not directly on my granite countertops and I cover with plastic wrap, then a dish towel and let it rise overnight. By morning it's risen perfectly. I live in Colorado so the plastic works best.
