Easy Mother’s or Father’s Day Card

Happy Friday! I hope the weekend is full of productivity and some tasty treats for you. It’s been almost 6 weeks since we’ve worked on the house. That’s over a month! Tomorrow will be our first day back at it and I couldn’t be more excited. We plan to finish sanding the drywall and hope to texture all of the walls and ceilings tomorrow. If that gets done, we can paint; painting is something I can help with so it might actually get done in a timely manner. 🙂
Anyone else planning on being productive this weekend? What do you have planned? In my mind it would be a great weekend to get your yard whipped into shape and then cook a hamburger on the grill. Mmmm.
I’m sending the mower home with my father-in-law tomorrow after his visit (he comes to help work on the house) and I’m so excited for my mother-in-law to get it.
Here is the card to go with the mower:

Isn’t that punny!

I made two of these cards and plan to give one to my grandpa for Father’s Day because he loves to mow his lawn. I’ll just switch out Mow-ther’s for Father’s! Easy-peasy.
