We totally NEED wheels. We just pack around that coop and it's so much work! Off to find an old pram! Thanks for the ideas Karen.

Made something similar years ago and learned 2 things. First, make sure that the roof covering on the run is dog proof - we lost 20 chickens after a dog got into one of our runs through the roof which was lightweight nylon mesh and bird proof but not dog proof - and secondly if you put wheels at one end of the run you can move it far more easily. Ours was 8'x8' with sort of folding handles at one end and wheels - we used old pram wheels - at the other and it could then be moved by just one person if needed. Useful if your husband works away from home like mine did.

So many things to say about this post!
1. You are now receiving swag from companies, which solidifies that you've officially made it as a fancy blogger.
2. Ben is also weirdly territorial about his tools... maybe it's just a guy thing?
3. You built a chicken coop at 6-7 months pregnant... Wonder Woman!
4. I like you, and we need to see each other next time you're in town.
