In reply to <a href="https://www.blessthismessplease.com/chai-tea-concentrate-recipe/comment-page-1/#comment-96614">Jessica</a>.

Thanks for pointing that out, yes, you can essentially make this an even strong concentrate by cooking it longer or hotter (if it's closer to a boil than a simmer, you'll reduce your liquid more), so once you have tried it some you can get a feel for it! If you like it like that, do it! And then you can adjust your milk to taste because a chia latte is really so much personal preference. There's no harm in it being reduced at all as long as you know that you can adjust the milk in your latte to your liking. I started making it on my own for the same reason, I love them hot and cold and I didn't want pay the price (or leave my house) every day! So glad you tried it Jessica!

Thanks for this fabulous recipe I didn’t know I needed. Chai tea lattes from Starbucks are my weakness but who can afford that in this economy? I don’t know if I simmered too high but I did lose about 40% of my liquid when it was all done but the final product was still delicious. I had it with hot milk and my husband added his concentrate to his cold coconut milk and we both loved ours. Highly recommend!
