Used recipe as a base. Baked potatoes in an air fryer ( saved about 20 minutes). Instead of sugar added some maple syrup, and sour cream in place of milk. Fried a few strips of bacon and crumbled that into the mix. Did not melt the butter- let the warm yams take care of that.
For the topping I didn’t have cinnamon, so used some allspice and nutmeg. Added some marshmallows in and mixed well.
For a crowd that usually shuns sweet potato casseroles, I am disappointed that I only had about one serving to bring home.

Great and easy recipe. I used canned Yams instead of fresh Sweet Potatoes due to my time constraints. It came out as delicious as my sister in law’s, who followed your instructions verbatum and passed your recipe onto me. Happy Thanksgiving Beth!

I was given sweet potato casserole to bring to family Christmas dinner 2022( my sister usually brings but wanted to change it up)This was definitely a winner and now I get to bring next year!!😂 Absolutely delicious 😋

I make these a couple times a year. Always a hit, except I boil my potatoes like I would for mashed…And Always make extra topping!
