Delicious pie. I added 1 Tblsp lemon juice and 1/8 tsp of ground nutmeg. I didn’t add and extra sugar. Was plenty sweet. Thanks for this great simple recipe. It was my first time baking apple pie in many years. It was so much fun and totally worth the effort.

Lovely apple pie! My husband Rupert loves this pie more than anything last year i thought he was cheating on me with my neighbour Beth and I told her you stay away from Rupert and then I baked him this very pie and said if you cheat on me you will never taste this pie again and since then he has never cheated on me since!!

This is a great recipe, I enjoyed making it because it’s an easy apple pie recipe! I used my pampered chef apple peeler/slicer, which made it even easier to prep. I used Pillsbury refrigerator pie crusts, but I’ll try your homemade crust recipe next time. I think I may have overbaked it a tad , it was delicious, my husband loved it!!! Thank you Melissa🫓😊
