How kind of you to try and help from a distance, thank you for all of the tips and tricks! Any special bay leave needed or just the normal dry cooking kind? Sounds like it would smell amazing!

I love this post. My husband struggles with anxiety. He won't do anything to help relieve the pressures, nor admit there are any. I was desperate years ago to find something I could do to help him which in turn would help me live with him. I began diffusing lavender....I felt better at least. Morning walks seem to help, but its a struggle getting him out in the cold. He won't drink tea, read self-help books, admit to a dr there are issues or do deep breathing. The struggle is real. One other thing I do occasionally when I feel things are just bad and they are affecting me......I burn a bay leaf and let it diffuse through the air....it is said bay releases the negative energies around us. I love how I feel refreshed after the smoke wafts thru the air for a bit....sometimes I even feel a bit giddy! It isn't good to just inhale the smoke especially if you have asthma......it is recommended to light it and walk out of the room until its done smoldering.....um ya....bay doesn't smolder well. I just hold it and keep lighting it until its gone. Here's to a great 2019!!
